General Updates

Hi folks. Sorry that this site hasn’t been updated in a while, but the server has been off and I’ve been pretty busy. Read on below for some general life updates:
- Relationship
K-san and I are doing great. I’m so happy that I decided to come back from Japan. Lovey-dovey, ラブラブ, call it what you want, that’s us. I’m pretty sure everyone is sick of us, but we’re happy.
- Hawaii
Yes, that’s right. I am going to Hawaii! I will be leaving the 20th and coming back on the 28th. Not only is it Christmas in Hawaii, but my girlfriend, K-san, will also be there. We will be staying at Y’s house outside of Hilo. It’s in a small town so it should be nice to see the non-touristy side of Hawaii.
- Job
After thinking a long time, I decided to not take the job over-the-hill in San Jose. I decided to go back to work for the University. I’m much happier working at the University, even though it is less money than the other job. One nice thing is that I’m getting paid once a week now, as opposed to once a month. And at $20/hour, they’re pretty nice sized paychecks.
- iBook
I got my new computer from work, an Apple iBook G4! I’m sure many are wondering, “Why would he get a Macintosh?” Well, with OS X being practically UNIX, I decided I should try it for a bit, so I asked for a Mac laptop. Plus, pulling out an iBook, as opposed to the IBM G40, makes me feel a lot less snobby. Everyone has an iBook. I feel cool.
